project 365 {week 7}

OK- as I knew it would, project 365 is getting a bit behind. BUT I am making sure to take my photos and keep them organized in my P365 folder by date, I just can't find the time to get the pages made. That's OK though, I'm going to keep truckin' I'm determined to keep this going I know I will be glad I did at the end of the year!

Project 365 {week 5}

I’m a little behind..as you can see. Its not that I’m getting burnt out (yet) I’ve just been so busy that I haven’t had the time to devote to getting week 5 put together. Plus working with a new digital kit this month took a little more creative energy… but here it is (Oh yeah- the dates are wrong, but don’t fret, I fixed it!)

Project 365-revised

I decided to go a different route with my project 365. I’ve heard some buzz about 365 digi kits being offered but really have never taken the time to investigate them. A few days ago I came across THIS kit. I loved this idea, and decided to adopt it. However 14.99 a month plus printing is WAY out of my (nonexistent) budget. So instead I’m CASEing the idea.

I thought maybe someone out there might be interested in the dimensions and such of creating the templates so I figured I’d give them here. Disclaimer: I am a newbie at photoshop and what I do know I pretty much taught myself. So the way I do things may not be the usual even the easiest or best but it’s the language I understand.

How to:
{canvas} 12 x 24, 300dpi (everything will be done at 300dpi)
{photos} cropped 4x6
{papers} cropped 2x6 (journal blocks) & 6x6 (title block)
{borders} blank canvas w/ white background- {vertical}: .25 W by 12 (x 3), {horizontal}: .125 H by 24 (x2), & .125 by 18 W

Project 365 {jan 11-18}

Project 365/Jan 1-10

Project 365, if you don't know, is basiclly a journal thought the year in pictures. As a scrapbooker I plan to use these pictures to create monthly LO's, so at the end of the year we can reflect back on all our memories big & SMALL. I plan to post each weeks pictures here, in hopes that I will stay commited to this project throught the year. I'm already a little behind... (blame that on getting myself organized!) but here are the first 10 days of January...

1.New Years Eve with friend Liz 2. the ice cream incident.... 3. cropping with friends 4. cleaning and organizing (got all the board games together and in a new home!)

5. Let it snow, let it snow 6. sick-blah 7. catching up on some reading 8. My sister, Sara, who helped me install my new entertainment center (yipee!)

9. coffee with a good friend 10. scrapping projects

One thing I have learned is I need to remember to take my camera with me when I go places! (I wish I got a pic of me & my freiend out having coffee- but getting a pic of the cup had to work...) Want to join me in this quest? Its not to late! I'm sure you have pictures from the last few days, think about some of the things you did-even from your daily routines and go take a few shots to fill in. And make sure to share with me your pictures, I'd love to see them!!
