Another wedding, Another wedding gift

We just attended the beautiful wedding of my Husbands cousin Mandi, this weekend. Mandi & her new husband, Ted, were a stunning couple & we felt blessed to be able to be in attendance.
So... that meant another wedding gift. Its basicly the same idea as the previous gift I made a couple weeks ago. Since I use old yard-sale find frames this one is slightly different along with the paper line. I love how the easel sets it off so perfectly.

{details}:
{paper}: Bella Blu by SU!
{ribbon}: Offray
{monogram charm}: making memories
{stamp}: Floral/Dings by making memories
{flower}: Prima
{pearl}: Kaiser Scrapbook
{fonts}:Kunstler Script & Baskerville Old Face

{easel}: bought at Real Deals Home Decor
Also a big THANKS to bbcrazy who's card on splitcoast stampers {inspired} this frame. You can see the origianl card HERE.

It was wonderful to be a guest and spectator at the wedding rather than the crazy running around photographer, but that didn't stop me from bringing my camera! Here are a few shots of the evening.

Congratulations Ted & Mandi!

watermarks

I have been having fun creating some watermarks for friends recently. I thought I would share some of my recent work. What's a watermark you ask? It is a digital "stamp" to put on your images, so as things get passed around the web your info will always remain on the photo. Watermarks are commonly used on photography images and on photos of original craft projects.

To see My watermark and my friend Kris's watermark click HERE

Need a cute/elegant/profesional watermark? I'd be happy to create one for you for $5.00 or I can always be bribed with scrapping/stamping goodies, or even just chocolate! LOL

Hybird Scrapping

This is my first attempt at a hybird album (part digi part traditional scrapbooking). I downlaoded the album kit from http://www.faithsisters.com/ The kit is called Simply Lime by Meridith Cardall. After creating the digi album with pictures from my Sisters recent wedding, I had the 4x6 pages printed at Costco. I cut them out added some fun embellishments, and tied them all together.
The best part about creating a digi album is not only was I able make the album for my sisters birthday, but was able to make easy and quick coppies for other family members!

Here is the album completed

Digital title page

Title page with paper flowers and button accents

Digi pages 1-4

Digi pages 5-8

Real buttons added to the final album pages.

Digi pages 9-12

Decorative button embelishment added. (I love this page!)

Digi pages 13-16

Pearls and paper flowers added

Digi pages 17-20

metal monogram letter and jute

A new image...

In my last post I mentiond that I did my first photo shoot in a long while. I have been into photography for years working for 8 years in the industry for a couple different companies till My son, Matthew was born and I became a full time SAHM (stay at home mom). Since then I have done many shoots for family & friends, and as the years have passed I have grown in my hobby and continue to learn more & more.

I used to go by the name "Memory Lane Photography" because it was cute and because my grandparents actually live on a street named Memory Lane and I was lucky enough to get to live there for a while as a child myself.

I never actually legally registered the name or anything, I just do this on the side. but the other day while on the way to Addie's photo shoot the Lord gave me a new name. I'm really excited about it.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him"
Genesis 1:27

Since my photography is centered around people mostly childern, seniors and family I think the new name is perfect. I still have no plans to take my photography beyond friends & family & word of mouth. I enjoy giving others the opprotunity to experience more in depth photography than a frazzled session at the mall or your local wal-mart at a price that is affordable. (in many cases even cheaper than those chain mall stores!). I don't plan to set up any websites or even a special blog, but I will share my work with you all here among all my other rambelings and creative projects. So I hope you'll enjoy from time to time the occasional photo shoot postings!

(or money) So here they are... My First Digi LO!

I swore I'd never ever go there... (yet I said the same about going digital w/ a camera years ago too). Well, my Mom's BDay was last week and were headed out of town for a visit (and Z's bible quiz meet) so I had to get a gift done.

Tara, my amazing friend took this family shot of us at Christmas and I knew I needed to do something w/ this pic for a gift, since my Mom hasn't even seen the photos yet! And this morning (nothing like the last minute huh?) I had this brilliant idea...I should do it digital!

Honestly it took me longer to get an inspiration and find a digi kit that worked than it did to actually create it! I think after web surfing & downloading kits, the whole process took less than 45 minutes! (for the record I don't think I have EVER scrapped a LO tradditonally in 45 minutes. No matter HOW simple!)

So here you have it my very first ever digi LO... think it might be the first of many to come??? Hummm, you never know.... :0)

New Blog Banner

So, what do ya think?? I had a sleepless night (darn cold) and decided rather than toss and tun in bed I'd get up enjoy the quiet house and play on the computer. I created this banner and the side bar headers all from scratch! (no premade digi kits here!) I just had to toot my own horn... I've been dabbling in photoshop for a while and I'm slowly teaching myself (mostly by trial & error). Its almost as fun as playing with paper..... hummmmm

I thought I'd put this out there- (a girls gotta make money to buy more scrappin stuff right?) If you would like me to custom make you a blog banner I will do so for $20.00 and $5.00 for each matching sidebar banner. I'm happy to work with you to create a super fun page that represents you & your style! Just leave me a comment or email me at Heatherbstampin@clearwire.net

Here is some other banners I have made recently also...
